What is supplied?
One plastic main engine-cooling expansion tank, one cap and one coolant level sensor. The sensor detects coolant level—not coolant temperature. Coolant and installation tools are not included. This is an aftermarket replacement, not a genuine BMW part.

Professional installation is recommended. Diagnose coolant loss before replacing parts, use the vehicle-specified coolant and follow the correct filling and bleeding procedure. Never open a hot or pressurised cooling system.

No. This is the main engine-cooling expansion tank. Some vehicles have a separate low-temperature / charge-air coolant reservoir; do not confuse the two.
Will this fix every coolant leak?
No. Diagnose the source of coolant loss first. Hoses, connections and other cooling-system components may also need attention. Professional diagnosis and installation are recommended.
