Ask us a question ↗
How do I match a 1240A053 Triton cooler?

Confirm the engine, build date and original reference. Check the housing profile and all connection positions against the removed unit. Do not assume the same cooler fits petrol Tritons or other diesel engines; send your VIN and photos if uncertain.

What should be checked when oil and coolant mix?

Have the source diagnosed before replacing parts. If the cooler is confirmed faulty, the installer should inspect the connected systems and sealing faces and carry out the appropriate cleaning and repair procedure. Follow the vehicle-specific service requirements.
