Fitment

This Navara D40 intercooler suits the Nissan Navara D40 from 2005 to 2015, in both Thai and Spanish built variants, and the Nissan Pathfinder R51 from 2005 to 2013. Both must be fitted with the 2.5 litre YD25DDTi turbo diesel. Please note it does not suit the 3.0L V9X V6 diesel used in ST-X 550 and V6 Pathfinder models, as those take a completely different cooler. If you are unsure which engine you have, send us your VIN and we will confirm fitment before you order.

Installation

Allow around 90 minutes for a straightforward swap. Firstly, remove the front bumper to access the core. Then release both hose clamps and lift the old unit clear of its mounts. Finally, transfer the rubber bushes across and torque everything evenly. Above all, inspect your intercooler hoses while the front end is apart — split hoses will undo the benefit of a new Navara D40 intercooler within weeks.
