Astra Coolant Tanks: TS Classic, AH and BK Have Different Application Records

An Astra badge and a familiar cap colour do not identify the same coolant tank. The selected TS Classic, AH and BK offers have different application records. Check series, engine, body and build details before comparing their shapes.

Keep each application with its own reference

The relevant product pages are the TS Classic tank, AH tank and BK tank. The AH overall range is not a statement that both engines and both body types use that tank throughout every listed month. The BK range is narrower than the full vehicle production run.

Check the stated inclusions and connections

Astra TS Classic tank gallery view showing the translucent moulding, yellow cap and hose connections
Actual TS Classic product-gallery view. Its VIN and engine restrictions remain part of the selection.
Astra AH tank gallery view showing the translucent reservoir and yellow cap
Actual AH product-gallery view. A similar cap colour does not establish the same tank shape or connections.
Astra BK reservoir gallery view showing the moulded body, black cap and mounting features
Actual BK product-gallery view. Compare the complete connection and mounting arrangement.

The TS and AH offers include a cap and explicitly exclude the electrical level sensor. Check the original level-monitoring arrangement and any provision in the actual tank; do not assume a visible underside feature means a sensor is supplied.

The BK selected package is the tank and pictured cap. Hoses and coolant are excluded. Keep each offer’s contents with its own reference rather than transferring inclusions between generations.

Compare from corresponding views

Check every hose connection, filler neck, mounting clip or tab and the original reference. Use an underside view where necessary. A front-only photograph can conceal a connection that distinguishes the actual assembly.

Do not infer an unlisted capacity, cap-pressure value or sensor wiring specification from the images. Ask for the missing detail if it is necessary for confirmation.

Send the details that identify the generation

Provide the VIN, series, body, build month, engine code, original number and accessible complete/underside photographs. The workshop should diagnose the cooling complaint separately and determine service requirements. This comparison does not supply a coolant selection, price estimate or repair procedure.
