Early Colorado RG EGR Valve: A Vacuum Nipple Is Not an Electrical Socket

The selected early Colorado RG valve is vacuum operated. Its single vacuum nipple is not an electrical socket, and this valve type has no electrical connector. Start with that configuration before trying to compare it with a differently controlled EGR unit.

A round diaphragm housing is a visible identification feature; it does not supply a vacuum-test value or establish every Colorado application.

Keep the early LWH scope explicit

The early RG LWH vacuum EGR valve uses reference 12625219. It is listed for 2.8L LWH turbo-diesel utes within 06/2012–10/2013.

The later LWN engine and earlier RC 3.0L 4JJ1 valve are outside this selection. Confirm the VIN, actual build month, engine code and original reference rather than choosing from a Colorado name alone.

Compare the vacuum diaphragm and valve flange

Actual product-gallery view. This selected valve has a vacuum connection and no electrical socket.

Match the round zinc-plated diaphragm housing, vacuum nipple, two mounting ears, machined valve body and flange with the original. Use corresponding views so the connection can be located relative to the mounts.

If the original has a different connection or control arrangement, leave the match unresolved. Do not infer a conversion method, operating setting or diagnostic reading from the shape of the housing.

Check the seal-ring package

The offer includes one valve with the separate metal seal ring shown. The cooler, vacuum hoses, control solenoid, coolant and installation hardware are excluded. Ask the installer which additional items the diagnosed repair requires.

A complete-looking valve photograph is not an offer for the entire control system. Keep the exact contents with the exact reference when comparing packages.

Provide the details that distinguish this version

Send the vehicle identifiers and accessible labelled photographs of the original diaphragm, connection, flange and valve body. The workshop should establish the actual fault and use vehicle-specific service information for testing, fitting and commissioning.
